I Am Lozen

Yuma went up to Lake Kassadona. He remembered how he used go up there with his grandmother, before she died. She would tell him all kinds of stories up there. When he finally reached there, he noticed that it was frozen, as is usual during the winter. His grandmother explained this phenomenon as the work of ice spirits that do this so they could play on the lake, but no one could ever see them because they did not want humans to intrude, so they cloaked themselves. However, if you listened closely, you could hear the sounds of their merriment.

He sat down at the water’s edge and reminisced more. He recalled a story about the dragon, Gaasyendietha. His grandmother told him that it was borne by a meteorite that landed at that lake and that it would lend its power to humans it deemed worthy. He knew this one to not true, not completely as the Gaasyendietha landed in Canada.

As he listened to the sounds of ice spirits playing, he thought about how his grandmother always told him that he was destined for something great. After all, he descended from a long line of demon hunters. The last one being his great-grandfather. He looked up to the sky, and as he looked up he noticed a particularly bright light. He believed it to be a shooting star so he made a wish.

“I wish for something great to happen to me. Something worthy of my heritage.”

Then he noticed that the “shooting star” was heading in his direction. Moments later, he realized that it was not a shooting star, but a meteor that was becoming a meteorite. He ducked down hoping that it would miss. Miss him it did, and instead landed a few feet across from him. He rose up in surprise thinking that the impact would have more effect on the landscape. He went to examine it.

The meteorite cracked open to reveal a tomahawk, but it was no ordinary one. This tomahawk had a white shaft with a golden ring connected to a red, diamond-shaped gem at the bottom. The top of the shaft looked like part of a golden scepter. The head was blue with gems on the sides: green and yellow diamond-shaped gems, and ruby heart-shaped gems just before the blade bit. The blade bit was golden and shaped similar to a V. Lastly, there was a pink feather on it that resembled three claws.

Yuma grasped this peculiar weapon and raised it. He felt a strange sensation as he did. He noticed something dripping from his hand. He looked down and realized it wasn't something just dripping from his hand, it was his whole hand. The shock of this caused him to step back, only to trip over a nearby long. This in turn made half of his shin separate from the rest of his body. It dissolved into goo. Yuma awaited what seemed to be his inevitable demise as his whole body dissolved into goo.

Curiously, at the end of it all, the tomahawk stood straight up on top of the goo. Something remarkable happened next. The goo turned pink and began twisted as it rose up. It took on a humanoid shape starting from the feet up. When it began developing the hips, there was another noticeable change. It was taking on a feminine shape with the hips reaching outward and the waist reaching in. The butt became smooth and round. The sides turned curvy as arms and hands started to grow. A pair of DDD breasts were shaped on the chest. A head with closed eyes grew out of the neckline. Afterwards, long, dark purple hair appeared on the head with braids that had yellow stars on the bottoms, on the sides.

Clothing starting appearing on this new body. A golden circlet with a big, red gem showed up on the forehead. A dark blue collar developed on the neck. From that collar sprang an entire sleeveless, upper backless top. The top was mostly blue, save for what might have been a white heart if the top had sleeves. A golden ring formed around her waist; from the ring, a dark ruby mini-skirt sprang forth. Blue boots appeared on her feet. The top rims became golden with rubies just below on front. Blue medium-length gloves with golden cuffs showed up on her hands, which were grasping the tomahawk.

The newly created slimegirl opened her eyes. She gazed at her tomahawk and raised it in the air.

“I am Lozen, and I will protect my world all the evils that will besiege it,” she announced.

She found a cause worthy of the heritage of warriors she bore.
For 's contest.

I do have an idea for an alternate reality Lozen who is a magical slimegirl. However, unlike the one depicted in this story, she was always Lozen, never Yuma. In fact, I'm starting to think that would have made for a better reboot. Oh well. Too late now.

Here's a reference for
magical slimegirl Lozen.

Wow. Perfect. That edit was the cherry on top. Well done.
