PAGE ONE – SIX PANELS

Panel 1: Overlord Bob is reviewing one of his scrolls.

Overlord Bob (reading): The Tribal (South) – These fresh recruits are not the most experienced of warriors, but they have the same determination and spirit as any of their superiors. Despite using primitive weapons, they can actually be quite formidable. Use caution and distract them with gold; they covet it.

Panel 2: Overlord Bob goes to his magic mirror to check the security feed. He sees an Aztec-looking young man, the Tribal, dressed in a loincloth and armor made of several layers of braided cotton, hardened with brine and other substances, and wearing a pouch on his back, a wooden spear with a broad head edged with sharp obsidian blade (tepoztopilli) on his back, and a wooden sword with sharp obsidian blades embedded into its sides (maquahuitl).

Panel 3: The Tribal turns a corner to find a trio of guards blocking the way to “Bob’s Gold Storage,” as noted by a sign.

Panel 4: The Tribal takes out his maquahuitl, in an offensive stance.

Panel 5: The guards laugh at the Tribal’s primitive weapon.

Panel 6: The Middle Guard gets smacked with the wood side of the maquahuitl, rattling his helmet. The Left Guard and Right Guard look at this.

PAGE TWO – SIX PANELS

Panel 1: The Middle Guard falls as the Left Guard and Right Guard prepare for an attack.

Panel 2: Right Guard thrusts his lance as the Tribal spins to the right.

Panel 3: The Tribal smacks the Right Guard with the wood side of his maquahuitl, rattling his helmet.

Panel 4: As the Right Guard falls down, the Left Guard thrusts his sword towards the Tribal.

Panel 5: The Tribal uses the obsidian side of his maquahuitl to break the Left Guard’s grip, breaking some of the obsidian as well.

Panel 6: The Tribal kicks the Right Guard in the face.

PAGE THREE – SIX PANELS

Panel 1: The three guards run away, seemingly out of fear.

Panel 2: The Tribal leers as potential captives escape.

Panel 3: At the Gold Storage entrance, the Tribal sees a big lock.
Panel 4: He uses his tepoztopilli to pick the lock.

Panel 5: The tepoztopilli breaks at the head and the lock falls off.

Panel 6: The tribal opens the door to find a whole trove of gold.

PAGE THREE – SIX PANELS

Panel 1: The Tribal begins tossing the gold in his pouch.

SFX: KLUNG!

Panel 2: He takes a closer look and finds that the gold is fool’s gold.

Panel 3: He chucks his pouch away as he spots something.

Panel 4: A golden mask spins in mid-air, atop a pedestal, on top all of the gold.

Panel 5: The Tribal begins his climb.

Panel 6: He holds the mask in his hands for a closer inspection. It looks like some sort of female opera mask.

PAGE FOUR – SIX PANELS

Panel 1: The Tribal turns the mask around.

Panel 2: He holds the mask up as it begins stretching and clinging onto his face.

Panel 3: The mask has completely covers his face.

Panel 4: The mask only covers half his face, while looking more feline with triangular shapes poking out of the top, his armor shortens and triangulates, his loincloth shortens and looks skirt-like. Golden bands can be seen around his legs, while gold bracelets appear around his arms. His whole form seems more feminine.

Panel 5: The Tribal is now a female, as evidenced by the medium-sized boobs, and the short skirt that is positioned to almost give a view of her bare crotch. The mask is a golden jaguar mask with turquoise feathers poking out of it. The armor is now a short, golden-colored poncho-type top. Golden armor starts to cover her torso while gold dust is visible on her body.

Panel 6: The Tribal, known as La Dorada at this point, regains her composure. Gold dust covers her entire body, long turquoise feathers finish growing out of her mask, and her torso (complete with a bellybutton indentation) is covered in golden armor.

PAGE FIVE – ONE PANEL

Panel 1: On ¼ of the panel, an important note from, the scroll can be seen. On the other ¾ La Dorada struggles to pick up a big, golden maquahuitl. On it, a symbol that designates it as a “Jaguar Warrior-only” weapon.

Scroll (reading): Note that Tribals do not have the same strength or rank as their superiors, so they still can’t wield weapons that aren’t designated for their use.
To elaborate on the Tribals, they are not only a race that non-Tribals refer to them as, but they are also a base class that can become a number of different classes depending on region. The Southern Tribals can become Jaguar and Eagle Warriors and whatnot,  and Western Tribals can become Shadow Warriors (the rogue/assassin-like class; based off of Apache warriors). However, any Tribal can become a Chieftain or Spirit Dancer (Tribal variant of Summoner). Furthermore, unlike other classes, the Southern Tribals do not upgrade by experience, they go up in rank by the number of captives they have claimed.

La Dorada's outfit is based off of a Mixtec woman: unrealitymag.bcmediagroup.netd…
